Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

These terms govern your use of 3dxdev.com (“the site”). By using the site you accept them. If you do not, please stop using it.

What This Site Is

3DxDEV is an independent resource site for 3D artists and game developers. We publish articles, reviews and a curated directory of tools, add-ons and assets for software including Blender, Unreal Engine, Unity, Godot, Maya, Houdini, ZBrush and Cinema 4D.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of the software vendors or tool developers we write about, unless a page explicitly states otherwise.

Third-Party Content and Downloads

The site catalogues tools and assets hosted elsewhere — on GitHub, Gumroad, Superhive, Blender Extensions, itch.io and similar platforms. We do not host these files. When you click a download or product link you leave this site.

Each third-party tool carries its own licence and terms, set by its creator. It is your responsibility to read and comply with those terms, particularly for commercial use. We describe licences as accurately as we can, but the licence on the developer's own page is authoritative.

Accuracy

We verify prices, version numbers, system requirements and licence terms at the time of writing, and we correct errors when we find them. Software changes constantly. Information here may become out of date, and you should confirm current details with the developer before purchasing or committing to a tool.

Intellectual Property

Articles, reviews and original written content on this site belong to 3DxDEV. You may quote short excerpts with a link back. Please do not republish full articles.

Product names, logos and trademarks mentioned belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.

User Submissions

If you submit a tool or resource through our submission form, you confirm you have the right to share it and that the information you provide is accurate. We review submissions and may decline or edit them. We do not guarantee that a submission will be published.

Limitation of Liability

The site is provided as-is. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or from software you obtain via links here, including data loss, project corruption or licensing disputes. Always back up your work before installing new software.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
