Thangs is a 3D model search platform with one feature nothing else offers at this scale: geometric search. Upload a model and it finds similar shapes — matching geometry, not filenames or tags.
Why That Matters
Every other model site searches text. You type “bracket” and get whatever people happened to label bracket. If your part has no common name, or the name means different things in different fields, you are stuck scrolling.
Geometric search asks a different question: what looks like this? Upload a part and it surfaces models with similar geometry, regardless of what anyone called them.

Check the Licence
As with every aggregator, individual models carry individual licences. Many are Creative Commons with non-commercial restrictions. If you intend to sell prints or ship a model in a product, read the terms on that specific model rather than assuming.
“Free to download” and “free to sell” are different permissions, and aggregators make it easy to forget that.
